Today's #graydaystudiowomenwednesday is by The Reverend Dr. Anna Pauline "Pauli" Murray (November 20, 1910 – July 1, 1985) She was an American civil rights activist, women's rights activist, lawyer, and author. She was also the first black woman ordained an Episcopal priest. She fought for women's right and coined the phrase "Jane Crow" when talking about modern sexism in her day and how much needed to be done to fight sexism like the "Jim Crow" movement did with racism. I recommend reading more about Pauli. GIVEAWAY: to win this drawing please follow me on Instagram and let me know by commenting with "following" below! A winner will be picked at random by Friday.
